Peacock has unveiled the first trailer for The Continental: From the World of John Wick, the three-part prequel series to the John Wick franchise. After scheduling conflicts due to the ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes, the Television Academy and FOX have landed on a new date for the 2023 Emmy Awards. Disney+ has announced that it will be taking action on password sharing, following the lead Netflix set in early May. Its CEO Bob Iger said the platform is "actively exploring ways to address account sharing."At the time of writing, Disney+ has not announced any price increases or penalties specifically related to password sharing, as Netflix has implemented in specific regions. The Manhattan location of JAY-Z's 40/40 Club is shutting its doors after two decades.According to reports, club rep Andrea Thomas revealed that the club's original address closed in late July with plans to reopen at a new location some time next year. Disney+ and Hulu will be increasing its subscription prices in two months.IGN reports that starting October 12, subscribers in the United States will be charged $13.99 USD a month instead of $10.99 USD for the Disney+ ad-free tier, while Hulu's prices will rise to $17.99 USD a month instead of $14.99 USD. In addition, ESPN+ will increase by a dollar to $10.99 USD and Hulu with Live TV will be priced at $76.99 USD a month instead of $69.99 USD.
