The 2023 Emmy Award nominees have been revealed. Community's Yvette Nicole Brown and Television Academy chair Frank Scherma unveiled the list of contenders in a virtual meeting earlier this morning. Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, Oppenheimer is considered one of the most highly anticipated films of the summer. Universal Pictures bet on the summer blockbuster is slated to hit theaters worldwide this month. The atomic bomb epic had its world premiere even in Paris and the initial reactions are in for the nearly-three hour long drama. Film critics around the world appear to give Oppenheimer multiple thumbs up, praising Nolan and the cast. Nathan Fillion has been cast as a Green Lantern in James Gunn's Superman: Legacy.Vanity Fair confirmed that Fillion will portray Guy Gardner in the upcoming superhero film, although his role may not be the mainstay Green Lantern. As the Barbie premiere date nears, Greta Gerwig continues to reveal teasers about the initial process of the film. In a recent interview, Gerwig revealed that there could have been cameos from both Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet.Back in September, Ronan confirmed to People that she had tried to film a cameo for the upcoming Barbie film but was unable to do so. Travis Scott is rumored to be the star of a "secret" A24 film directed by Harmony Korine.The Film Stage reports that the project is an action feature film “shot entirely in infrared” that recently received a screening at Metrograph in New York City.
