Accompanied by a visual, the early promotional materials are centered around protagonist Kira Yamato and Lacus Clyne, fan-favorite characters from the original Mobile Suit Gundam Seed series.Part of the 20-year anniversary of the original anime, the upcoming film will pick up where Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny left off and serve as a direct sequel to the title. Sunrise (Bandai Namco Filmworks) will be animating the film under the direction of Mitsuo Fukuda who worked on both Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. Naruto fans will have four new episodes to look forward to streaming this fall. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the anime, based on the famous namesake manga, the episodes will add to the storyline of the original series.The anime adaptation began airing in October 2002.
