Since the release of Marvel sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, fans have voiced wanting to see Tenoch Huerta’s character, Namor, the Sub-Mariner, receive its own franchise. The second trailer for Damien Chazelle‘s Babylon is promising to give an untamed depiction of the 1920s. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer, which arrives in a censored and uncensored version, sees aspiring Mexican-American actor and current film assistant Manny Torres (Diego Calva) attempt to enter the wild world of 1920s Hollywood alongside new and carefree actress Nellie LaRoy (Margot Robbie), whose character was inspired by the likes of Clara Bow, Jeanne Eagels, Joan Crawford and Alma Rubens. Amazon has ordered a limited series from the Russo Brothers‘ ABGO company focusing on the ongoing FTX crypto scandal. According to sources, the series will feature a total of eight episodes and will be based on “insider reporting” by the journalists who have reported on FTX and Bankman-Fried. A cast has not been confirmed, but rumors claim that some Marvel actors who the Russo brothers previously worked with are currently in talks to join the show in major roles. David Weil is set to write the pilot and co-executive produce alongside Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes and Natalie Laine Williams, while Joe and Anthony Russo are reportedly discussing taking on the additional role of directors on top of executive producing. According to reports, the 78-year-old South Korean actor was indicted on November 24 by prosecutors in Suwon, South Korea, with the case stemming from a mid-2017 occurrence when he supposedly touched a woman in an appropriate manner. A complaint filed by the alleged victim was made against the actor in December 2021 and was closed by authorities in April 2022, but was reopened again at the victim’s request.
