A new Silent Hill movie might be on its way as director Christophe Gans teased that he was penning a new script for the series.  During an interview with French magazine Jeuxvideo, the director stated that the new movie could be set for a 2023 release, and as horror evolved, he worked on updating the film from his first entry in the series. Julia Garner, known for her roles as Ruth Langmore in Ozark and Anna Delvey in Inventing Anna, may be taking on the lead role of Madonna in her upcoming biopic. According to reports, the 28-year-old actress was offered the role of the pop icon after a “grueling” audition process that needed “a skilled singer and dancer.” Garner supposedly beat the likes of Florence Pugh, Alexa Demie, Odessa Young, Bebe Rexha and Sky Ferreira, and she and her team are currently “considering and expected to accept the offer.” It has not been confirmed as of writing, however. As Top Gun: Maverick continues to soar to new heights at the box office, its production studio has recently picked up a new lawsuit. Paramount Pictures is reportedly being sued by the widow and the son of the man who wrote the original 1983 article that inspired the first Top Gun. The Yonay family is suing the studio due to copyright claims and has filed a complaint with the California federal court. The suit calls out Paramount for not reacquiring the rights to the story before releasing the new Top Gun: Maverick film in May. Dwayne Johnson has unveiled the first official trailer for Black Adam, revealing a wider glimpse at his DC Extended Universe debut in the role of the titular antihero. “This passion project has become my DNA and the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe will change,” Johnson wrote on Instagram alongside the trailer on Wednesday. “The world needed a hero.
