Focus Features on Wednesday shared the second official trailer for its upcoming Viking revenge film The Northman. Apple Signs Exclusive Multi-Year Deal With Tom Hanks’ Production Company

Apple TV+ has signed an exclusive multi-year deal with Tom Hanks and Gary Geotzman’s multiple-award-winning production company Playtone. Under the agreement, the companies will partner on developing, producing and distributing all forms of television, including series, limited series, documentaries and unscripted projects. The partnership expands on Apple’s pre-existing relationship with Playtone, which was first formed in 2019 when the two companies joined forces with Steven Spielberg‘s Amblin Television on Masters of the Air, a follow-up series to Band of Brothers and The Pacific. 20th Century Studios Taps Sinqua Walls for Lead Role in ‘White Men Can’t Jump’ Reboot

20th Century Studios has tapped Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow to star in its reboot of White Men Can’t Jump. The remake was first announced in 2017, when Blake Griffin and Black-Ish creator Kenya Barris signed on to develop the project. The film will be a reimagined take on Ron Shelton’s 1992 sports comedy which originally starred Woody Harrelson, Wesley Snipes and Rosie Perez. The premise of the film follows both Black and white basketball hustlers who come together to double their chances at winning in street basketball tournaments. Harlow is set to step into the Harrelson’s original role, while Wall will be taking over Snipes’. Two New Films Will Join the Live-Action ‘Fullmetal Alchemist’ Franchise This Summer

A new trailer is out for the films Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Avenger Scar and Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Last Transmutation. The two sequel films will join the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist franchise, which debuted its first  iteration in 2017. Spotlighting 15 main characters across the films, the trailer previewed the return of the cast from the first movie in the series.
