Set against the backdrop of Atlanta’s street takeover car culture, the rapper will portray new parolee Guy Miller as he attempts to start anew. Disney has officially revealed the title of the first upcoming Avatar sequel — Avatar: The Way of Water. According to reports, the title and release date of the film’s teaser trailer were unveiled during Disney’s CinemaCon presentation, with producer Jon Landau stating, “One of the strengths of [James] Cameron’s scripts is they are always universal and relatable themes that he weaves into them.” He added, “At the center of each of the four sequels will be the Sully family. Original Dune director Denis Villeneuve will no longer be helming the film’s HBO Max spin-off series Dune: The Sisterhood. The Canadian filmmaker was originally set to direct the pilot episode of the prequel project, but due to his obligations with Dune: Part 2, he’s now had to step away. Replacing him will instead be Johan Renck, one of the directors behind the critically acclaimed HBO series Chernobyl. Netflix teases the release of its new Russo Brothers film with the official first look images of the upcoming The Gray Man. Critically-acclaimed director J.J. Abrams has signed on to produce a live-action adaptation of Mattel‘s iconic Hot Wheels for Warner Bros. The project marks the first major film title under Abrams’ Bad Robot deal with Warner Bros. Noonan’s, a Harley Quinn animated spinoff series, has received a straight-to-series order at HBO Max, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 10-episode adult comedy series, which is helmed by Dean Lorey, will center on Kite Man and Golden Glider, two criminals who purchase Gotham’s grungiest dive bar, Noonan’s. Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson is gearing up to star in a Peacock series based on his own life. The comedy series, titled Bupkis, will feature half-hour episodes that depict a “heightened, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life,” according to the company. The studio will reportedly be developing Venom 3, marking Tom Hardy‘s third appearance as Eddie Brock following 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which earned $502 million USD at the global box office, and 2018’s Venom, which earned $856 million USD.
