When it comes to male pregnancy, the West had Junior and the East had Eri Sakai’s manga Kentarō Hiyama’s First Pregnancy (Hiyama Kentarō no Ninshin). Both are comedies and deal with opposite-sex childbearing, but this is where the similarities end. Netflix has just revealed the trailer for the live-action remake of the manga titled He’s Expecting. To build up some excitement for the arrival of Spider-Man: No Way Home to digital and DVD, Marvel gave fans some of the bonus material that will be accompanying the release. HBO may have accidentally revealed the HBO Max premiere date of Matt Reeves‘ The Batman. According to reports, a technical glitch on the HBO Website — which has been fixed as of writing — stated that the Robert Pattinson-starring film will be available to stream on HBO Max on April 19 and will air on HBO on April 23. Deadline adds that the dates line up with WarnerMedia’s plan of releasing its films scheduled for 2022 and beyond to hit HBO Max 45 days after it premieres in cinemas; The Batman will supposedly arrive on streaming 46 days after its March 4 theatrical release in the US and Canada. In a message to Warner Bros. executives, Cage told reporters at SXSW that he is interested in taking on the role of the villain Egghead in a potential sequel to Matt Reeves’ The Batman. While a sequel has yet to be announced, Cage is putting his hat in the ring, just in case. In the interview, Cage discussed the upcoming releasingstating, “We have this new [movie with] Robert Pattinson as The Batman, which I’m excited to see. Clarkson is also on board to direct the picture alongside Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless who are penning the screenplay. In the comics, Madame Web is portrayed as an elderly woman who suffers from myasthenia gravis which led her to be connected to a life-support system reminiscent of a spider web. Due to her age and medical condition, she was unable to actively fight any villains. Insiders have revealed that her psychic sensory powers could lead her to become Sony’s version of Doctor Strange. Netflix has unveiled the official teaser trailer of its upcoming film The Takedown (Loin du périph), which stars Lupin staple Omar Sy and François Monge. The forthcoming action-comedy is set to premiere May 6 and will follow Sy and Monge as police officers who are the complete opposite, and get paired together to uncover an unexpectedly big criminal case: “Ousmane Diakité (Omar Sy) and François Monge (Laurent Lafitte) are two cops with very different styles, backgrounds and careers.
