FX on Friday dropped off the official trailer for the upcoming third season of Donald Glover‘s Atlanta. The preview sees Earn (Donald Glover), Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry), Darius (LaKeith Stanfield) and Vanessa (Zazie Beetz) traveling across Europe, where they encounter a multitude of new characters while struggling to acquaint themselves with the local vernacular. In classic Atlanta fashion, the trailer also showcases several chaotic scenes, including a man wearing a Pope costume pushing a bike down a street and a stray peacock hanging out inside a lounge. Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan to Star in ‘I Am Legend’ Sequel

Warner Bros. has set its eyes on an I Am Legend franchise, bringing in two of Hollywood’s top players to star in the film. Not only is Will Smith making a return to the sequel, but Black Panther actor Michael B. Jordan is signed to star as well. This is the duo’s first big movie together as both producers and stars. Deadline reports that Oscar winne Akiva Goldsman, who originally adapted the 1954 Richard Matheson novel for the 2007 film, will also return to pen the script to the follow-up. Latest New ‘Shaman King’ Anime Promo Previews Final Battle

The new anime adaptation of Hiroyuki Takei’s beloved Shaman King manga has received a new promotional video and visual. The new clip teases scenes from upcoming episodes but most importantly focuses on a final battle involving protagonist Asakura Yoh. Debuted in April 2021, the series is now being streamed by Netflix and will have a total of 52 episodes. Serving as a revamp for the Shaman King anime which originally premiered in 2001, the new series adapts all 35 volumes of the manga’s new complete edition. The complete edition was published in print volumes by Kodansha in Japan June 2020. Classic Studio Ghibli Films Set to Return to Theaters for Ghibli Fest 2022

Studio Ghibli has unveiled its lineup for the 2022 Ghibli Fest, which will see classic titles return to North American theaters. Starting from April to November, fans can head to the cinema to catch Princess Mononoke (25th Anniversary), Ponyo, The Cat Returns (2oth Anniversary), Kiki’s Delivery Service, Only Yesterday, Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited Away in either English dubs or English subs. During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter about his new book, Troublemaker, which chronicles L.A. Riots from a Korean perspective, John Cho touched on his disappointment over the cancellation of Cowboy Bebop. Netflix Launching Daily Interactive Game Show Based on ‘Trivia Crack’

Netflix is launching a daily interactive game show, dubbed Trivia Quest, based on the popular Etermax app Trivia Crack. Beginning April 1, the streaming giant will release one new episode daily throughout the month, with a total of 30 episodes. Each episode will include 24 multiple-choice questions — 12 standard and 12 “hard” questions — across a variety of topics including science, history, entertainment, sports, art and geography. Aside from simply answering trivia questions, viewers will be tasked with helping an animal character named Willy save the animated citizens of Trivia Land from a ruthless villain named Evil Rocky. AMC Theaters Is Charging More for ‘The Batman’ Tickets Than Other Films

AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron has confirmed that the company will be selling The Batman tickets at a higher price in comparison to other films shown in cinema. The company is using the movie to experiment with a variable pricing method.
