‘The Batman’ Director Matt Reeves Reveals He Does Not Think He Could Make a Good Marvel Film

Ahead of the highly anticipated release of Matt Reeves‘ The Batman, the director sat down with Variety to discuss how he came about the project and how he shot the film during lockdown. Making the film was no easy feat, with his star Caped Crusader, Robert Pattinson testing positive for COVID-19 during shooting with three-quarters of The Batman left to film. There was fear that the team would lose yet another key member after dialect coach Andrew Jack died at 76 in late March 2020 due to COVID. Despite the complications brought on by the pandemic, Reeves was on track to make his DC Comics debut. Recently, the film recently received a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, giving fans a boost of confidence on what to expect. Though Reeves has received a certified fresh rating, it does not negate th...

Combined, the streaming platform will have “more than 40,000 episodes and over 16,000 hours of content,” including anime series and films with subs and dubs. More content will gradually make its way over to Crunchyroll as well. As for what this means for Funimation subscribers, ...
