According to reports, Jerry Bruckheimer is now producing a live-action Beyblade movie for Paramount Pictures. Starting as a line of spinning-top toys and accompanying manga/anime series by Takara, now Takara Tomy, in 1999, Hasbro then brought Beyblade to North America in 2002. Although not much is known about the project, the plot is expected to follow the original Beyblade series known to the North American audience. A script for the live-action film is now being written by Neil Widener and Gavin James with close production by blockbuster producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Robert Pattinson, who plays Batman in the upcoming film alongside Zoë Kravitz who stars as Selina Kyle a.k.a. Netflix has shared the official trailer for The Andy Warhol Diaries, an upcoming six-part documentary that promises to chronicle “the remarkable life of Andy Warhol from the intimate vantage point offered by the artist’s own posthumously published diaries,” according to Netflix. The preview for the Ryan Murphy-produced series showcases how the project utilizes AI technology to recreate Warhol’s voice as a narrator for his diary entries. Actor Bill Irwin originally recorded the lines, which were then fused with a text-to-speech algorithm that incorporated Warhol’s Pittsburgh accent for a strikingly realistic imitation. “I’m just a freak,” Warhol “says” during the preview. “I wasn’t very close to anyone. Earlier this month, Netflix announced that its Marvel series such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage would be leaving the streaming platform. It now turns out that, as many have expected, the shows will make their way over to Disney+. According to a new report from Mobile Syrup, the streaming service will now carry the entire library of Marvel shows and episodes from Netflix, but it’ll only be available in Canada for now.
