Tupac Shakur‘s mother, Afeni Shakur is receiving her own biopic. The project is set to follow her involvement in the Black Panther Party between 1969 and 1971. Titled, Peace, Love & Respect; the Afeni Shakur/Panther 21 story, the plot focuses on the two crucial years of her life. She joined the party in 1968 and was arrested as part of the “Panther 21,” the group that was put on trial and accused of organizing bomb attacks in New York before being acquitted. The film is set to be executive produced by Jasmin Guy and Jamal Joseph and will also receive the backing of the Shakur estate. The biopic will also touch on the events leading to the birth of the legendary rapper in 1971. In a blog post, Martin expresses his excitement for the series provides his stamp of approval. In celebration of the original anime and manga‘s 20th-anniversary, Square Enix has now launched a mysterious website for Hiromu Arakawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist. Named Vengeance Scar, the new page features a photo-realistic image of the anime villain with his signature red eyes, crossed scar on his forehead under a hood, and his heavily tattooed arm drawn and ready for transmutation. According to Anime News Network, the poster has also been featured on flyers handed out at movie theaters in Japan, although not much else is known about the project yet.
