Crunchyroll has just announced the date for the theatrical release of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The animated film will arrive in theaters in the United States and Canada on March 18 with a later release in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, France with CRG events, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, French-speaking Africa, and Latin America. The 105-minute-long film will be released across 1,500 theatres in the States (also to IMAX theaters) where it looks to share some of the success it had in Japan as the second-highest opening for a film in Japan’s box office history — just below Demon Slayer – Mugen Train. John Krasinski and Steve Carell are set to reunite for the first time since The Office in the upcoming film, IF. Billed as Krasinki’s next directorial project, Deadline reports that IF is “based on Krasinski’s original idea about a child’s journey to rediscover their imagination.” The A Quiet Place filmmaker will also write and produce the film via his company Sunday Night, while Ryan Reynolds, Alan Kim, Cailey Fleming and Louis Gossett Jr. are part of the cast. As the release of The Batman is around the corner, director Matt Reeves has revealed his inspirations for the film and his choice to cast Robert Pattinson as the titular Dark Knight. When Reeves was called to take on the monster film, Ben Affleck was still cast as the Caped Crusader in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In a recent interview, Reeves said, “Ben [Affleck] had been working on a version of the script and I said, ‘Here’s the thing: I respect that the DC Universe has become an extended universe and all the movies were kind of connected. But another Batman film, it shouldn’t have to carry the weight of connecting the characters from all those other movies. Netflix has officially released its first official trailer of the Will Arnett-led crime comedy series, Murderville. The show is adapted from the original BAFTA award-winning BBC3 series titled Murder in Successville. Arnett stars as the titular senior homicide detective, Terry Seattle. Throughout the series audiences see Terry paired with a different celebrity guest star to solve a differenty murder mystery each episode. None of the guest stars are given a script and are forced to improvise the storyline to ultimately determine who the killer is byt the end of the episode. Robert Pattinson sat down in a recent interview with MovieMaker to describe how his version of the caped crusader differs from his predecessors. Pattinson admitted that his Batman might be darker than what audiences expect. Netflix has released the first trailer for Guillermo del Toro‘s stop-motion musical take on Pinocchio, which is slated to debut on the streamer in December 2022. “I want to tell you a story,” the teaser opens. “It’s a story you may think you know, but you don’t. Chris Evans is slated to star alongside Dwayne Johnson in Amazon Studios‘ upcoming holiday action-adventure comedy Red One. Jake Kasdan is directing and producing the film with his production company The Detective Agency, in partnership with Melvin Mar and co-producer Sky Salem Robinson. Kasdan previously worked alongside Johnson and Seven Bucks Productions on Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level.
