The Space Entertainment Enterprise (S.E.E.) promises to bring a film studio to space by 2024. The company is currently working on Tom Cruise‘s next space film and plans to launch both a production studio and sports arena in outer space within the decade. Variety has reported that S.E.E. has unveiled official plans to build a zero-gravity station that includes an entertainment and athletics arena. Named the SEE-1 the space module is set to host different events across genres including film, television, sports and music events as well as hold creative content studios for artists and producers to make in space. The “JOJOmagazine” has been revealed to publish this year in celebration of the 35th-anniversary of the widely developed anime series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. The cover, illustrated by the original manga artist Hirohiko Araki, features JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean‘s protagonists Jolyn Kujo and her estranged father, Jotaro Kujo. The magazine will cover past and recent works of Araki, including the 71-page manga spin-off, Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, along with an interview with Issei Takahashi, who played Rohan in the live-action drama. With the addition of special JoJo stickers, the magazine is a must-read for JoJo fans fond of Araki’s art. A live-action Godzilla series is officially making its way to Apple TV+. Creators Greg Daniels and Mike Judge have officially announced a King of the Hill reboot. According to reports, the two TV icons are partners once again with their newest animation company, Bandera Entertainment. Japanese gaming fans will soon be treated to a live-action series adaptation of SEGA‘s Lost Judgment. A sequel to Judgment — which itself was remastered for the PlayStation 4 last year — Lost Judgment marked the return of Japanese pop icon Takuya Kimura as Takayuki Yagami, a disgraced lawyer who became a private detective. According to Nikkan Gendai, the video game franchise is now being adapted into a television series currently named Unjudged, with Kimura himself possibly tied to the project. LeBron James will executive produce an upcoming Disney+ basketball drama titled The Crossover. The show, which received a series order from the streaming platform, is based on Kwame Alexander’s Newbery Medal-winning novel, which centers on the coming-of-age story of two basketball-prodigy brothers, Josh (Jaylyn Hall) and JB Bell (Amir O’Neil). Netflix has dropped off the official trailer for its upcoming action film Fistful of Vengeance, which is set to premiere on the streamer on February 17. Since the success of Netflix‘s series Squid Game and Hellbound, the streaming giant is on track to producing more Korean content. Squid Game was No. 1 in Netflix’s Top 10 to watch list across 34 different countries while its other Korean sci-fi mystery series The Silent Sea also made it to the Top 10 list for non-English content. Crunchyroll and Adult Swim have just released a full trailer to the English dubbed version of Shenmue the Animation. Set to air on Toonami, the animated version takes Yu Suzuki’s story — which debuted in 1999 on the Sega Dreamcast — and adapts it for home viewing animated format for 13 episodes. This full trailer gives fans a look at Ryo Hazuki, Land Di, and even Chai. While the trailer only shows the Yokosuka portion of the game (Shenmue I) the credits indicate that characters Ren of Heavens, Joy, and Dou Niu will be featured, meaning that the Hong Kong portion of the story (Shenmue II) will also be covered.
