Joe Rogan was recently offered a deal to bring his popular, but controversial podcast to Rumble, a right-winged video platform startup. Rumble offered Rogan $100 million USD to part ways with Spotify earlier last week, but The Joe Rogan Experience host has officially denied the deal. In a recent stand-up performance in Austin, Texas, Rogan confirmed that he would not be moving his podcast over to Runble. Rogan is still currently tied to his exclusive multiyear Spotify deal worth more than $100 million USD. Pokémon and Daniel Arsham have put together a five-series art exhibition titled “A Ripple in Time,” currently taking place at galleries across Japan. In conjunction with the physical displays, the duo has debuted an exclusive short film, following an initial teaser released earlier last month. The film begins by portraying a thriving metropolis where humans and Pokémons coexist side by side. Arsham and his Pokémon Cubone are seen dueling Ash and Pikachu before Pikachu’s thunderbolts hit Celebi, causing Ash and Pikachu to be transported to a future dimension where the city is deserted and overrun with greenery. Paramount has just dropped two new trailers for Sonic the Hedgehog 2, offering fans a closer look at Knuckles’ silver screen debut in the franchise. Scheduled to hit cinemas this April, the new sequel will be a direct follow-up to the original Sonic the Hedgehog in 2020, with director Jeff Fowler coming back to helm the new project. Premiering during Super Bowl LVI, the two-minute visual sees Doctor Strange, portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch, getting arrested and facing a number of figures in an almost court-like setting. Netflix Original Marvel shows such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones and The Punisher are officially leaving Netflix. As confirmed by Engadget, the shows will be departing Netflix on March 1 and it has not been confirmed if the series will make its way on to Disney+. Netflix and Marvel effectively ended their partnership in 2019 when the last few titles were, much to viewers’ dismay, cancelled to make way for programs on the Disney+ platform. The new “The World Needs Heroes” teaser runs through the upcoming titles that will serve to add to the DC Extended Universe.
