AMC Studios has unveiled new cast members for its upcoming The Walking Dead spinoff, Tales of the Walking Dead. Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Parker Posey (Lost in Space), Jillian Bell (Rough Night), Anthony Edwards (ER) and Poppy Liu (Hacks) will act in the upcoming six-episode anthology series. Each episode will cover its own standalone plot that follows both new and previously introduced characters in the franchise. The Batman star Robert Pattinson revealed that the ending of their upcoming film hints at a sequel. Speaking to Total Film for a cover story, the actor revealed it is still “strangely personal” to him despite knowing that there could be a part two. “I mean, they always have that little bit at the end, that’s like: ‘…and coming up!’ But other than that, it feels strangely personal. Paramount+ has unveiled its official trailer for the live-action Halo TV series. The teaser for the show was initially shared ahead of the NFL AFC Championship Game on CBS. The Halo live-action TV series was announced back in 2013 and has spent multiple years in development before ViacomCBS confirmed that it was planning on premiering the show on Paramount+. Netflix will be forced to undergo a legal battle against grandmaster Nona Gaprindashvili over a line in The Queen’s Gambit after a judge refused to dismiss the defamation case.
