A month after dropping the first teaser for the Ultraman anime’s second season, Netflix and Tsuburaya Productions have now unveiled the series’ new key art along with the announcement of its release window. Netflix‘s JEEN-YUHS trilogy documentary following Kanye West‘s rise to global stardom is slated to premiere at the 2022 Sundance Festival in January. Japan releases its character posters, opting for a different aesthetic than the English posters released earlier this month. The Japanese black and white character posters feature six movie characters wearing different styles of sunglasses in red and blue tints, referring to the two pills that can be taken. Just as WB Games Montréal is developing a video game for Gotham Knights, the CW is now expanding on its own DC content with a live-action series of the Batman-related heroes. According to new reports, the network is now working on the series that will follow Bruce Wayne’s son following the murder of Batman as he teams up with the children of different villains within Gotham. Though not a spin-off of Batwoman, the project will be helmed by its writers James Stoteraux, Chad Fiveash and Natalie Abrams, and has no connection with the upcoming game either. Snoop Dogg is teaming up with 50 Cent to bring the story of his murder trial to Starz. A Moment in Time: Murder was the Case, a working title, is currently in development and is executive produced by the two hip-hop powerhouses. The project marks the second installment in an anthology series that focuses on the criminal events that occur behind the scenes in hip-hop history. Variety has reported that the project will be set in 1993, the time of Snoop’s trial for the first-degree murder of Phili Woldermariam. Woldermariam was a rival gang member who actually killed Snoop’s bodyguard, McKinley Lee. Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn has now confirmed that the third installment of the popular spy comedy franchise will wrap up Eggsy’s story arc. With the release date of The Matrix Resurrections inching ever closer, Warner Bros. released a new trailer over at The Game Awards 2021 bringing back one of the original trilogy’s fan-favorite characters: Laurence Fishburne‘s Morpheus. Featured above, the new clip follows Keanu Reeves‘ Neo as he gets reacquainted with the Matrix and the duality of his world, with Jessica Henwick’s Bugs as his tour guide. After stepping through different dimensions and locations, Neo ultimately walks into a room to meet the film’s new Morpheus, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who plays to him clips of his past.
