The Riddler has unmasked the Caped Crusader in the upcoming The Batman‘s latest international trailer. With his ominous voice booming through the entirety of the trailer, we hear Paul Dano‘s Riddler proclaiming that he’s “here to unmask the truth about this city,” before a long sequence of violence and villainy from the troublemaker. HBO has released its first look trailer for its new series, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. The film is directed by Adam Mckay from The Big Short and Vice, and is based on Jeff Pearlman’s non-fiction book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s. The minute-and-a-half trailer begins with team owner Jerry Buss, played by John C. Reilly, saying, “there are two things in this world that make me believe in God: sex and basketball. A first-edition Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone has just sold for a staggering $471,000 USD. The book was sold over at Heritage Auctions and one of only 500 hardback versions of the iconic tale ever printed and published back in 1997. Bidding started at $75,000 USD but quickly surged. “It’s the most expensive commercially published 20th-century work of fiction ever sold,” said the auction house’s executive VP Joe Maddalena. “This result shows the power of that combination of literature and cinema.” Aside from the first-edition Harry Potter, the rest of the auction included some 70 first editions from other popular literary works that ultimately got adapted into films. After much anticipation from fans, Netflix‘s Extraction 2 is now finally in production, and lead star Chris Hemsworth has just shared a first look at the upcoming sequel.
