Yeon Sang-ho Reveals Plans for ‘Hellbound’ Season 2

Hellbound is currently the most-watched series on Netflix, jumping to the first position in world rankings in just 24 hours. While the six-episode series has only been out for a week, fans are already asking for details regarding season 2. In an interview with Huffpost KR, Hellbound director Yeon Sang-ho said the sequel will follow the original model, releasing first as a webtoon, and later in video. Disney to Spend $33 Billion USD on Content in 2022

Disney will be spending $33 billion USD on content in 2022. According to the company’s latest SEC filing, the company has allocated that gigantic sum to produce even more content over the course of its next fiscal year, marking an $8 billion USD increase over its $25 billion USD spent in 2021. The figure also significantly trumps the budgets from competitors Discovery and Netflix, which have spent $20 billion USD and $14 billion USD respectively. “The increase is driven by higher spend to support our DTC expansion and generally assumes no significant disruptions to production due to COVID-19,” reads Disney’s report.
