HBO has dropped off the first teaser for Euphoria season two, along with its official release date: January 9, 2022. The teaser does not reveal much in regards to the plot of the upcoming season; however, it does center on Rue (Zendaya) as she dances and sings along to Frank Sinatra’s “Call Me Irresponsible” before flashing between a slew of party scenes. “When you’re younger, everything feels so permanent,” Rue narrates in the visual. “But as you get older, you begin to realize nothing is and everyone you love can drift away.” The trailer also provides a new look at previous cast members Sydney Sweeney (Cassie), Alexa Demie (Maddy), Barbie Ferreira (Kat) and Maude Apatow (Lexie). For the 1,000th episode of One Piece air last Sunday, the anime received a recreation of its first opening. Taking it back to the beginning of the series 23 years ago, Toei Animation updated the iconic sequence to show the current Straw Hat Pirates’ crew and their most recent Japan-inspired outfits from the Wano Country Arc. HBO has officially ordered Sam Levinson, The Weeknd and Reza Fahim’s drama series, THE IDOL. Fullmetal Alchemist‘s Hiromu Arakawa is set to launch a new manga this December. The author behind such titles like The Heroic Legend of Arslan (manga version of the Yoshiki Tanaka novel) and Silver Spoon, this new title Yomi no Tsugai — The Underworld’s Turn — will debut on Square Enix‘s Monthly Shonen Gangan. Blade Runner director Ridley Scott has officially confirmed that a TV series based on sci-fi film is currently in progress. In addition, he is also working on bringing Alien into a live-action show, as well. In a recent interview on BBC Radio, Scott revealed, “We [have already] written the pilot for Blade Runner and the bible. So, we’re already presenting Blade Runner as a TV show, the first 10 hours.” He added that Alien is set to also receive a “similar” treatment and according to Variety, “a pilot is being written along with a bible of what transpires in 8-10 hours of the show.” Scott had never discussed the possibility of a Blade Runner TV show until now. Delroy Lindo has officially joined the cast of Marvel Studios and Bassam Tariq’s Blade. While Lindo’s role is unconfirmed as of writing, Variety reports that the he could possibly be playing Jamal Afari, a former vampire hunter from Harlem who raised Eric Brooks/Blade and taught him the ways of vampire hunting.
