Jacob Elordi Plays an Australian War Hero in Prime Video Series ‘The Narrow Road to the Deep North’

Prime Video's mew limited series comes from Justin Kurzel. Starring Jacob Elordi as the titular Australian war hero in The Narrow Road to the Deep North, the series is an adaptation of Richard Flanagan's eponymous, Man Booker Prize-winning novel.Elordi plays the lead role of Dorrigo Evans, who is a medical officer who becomes a Japanese prisoner of war. He is also haunted by his passionate, and impossible love affair with Odessa Young's Amy Mulvaney, who is his uncle's wife. The script is written by Shaun Grant and portrays Elordi's character as a war hero who becomes a revered surgeon once he returns home.
