DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn took to Instagram Threads recently to defend the decision to delay the release of the caped crusader sequel, The Batman 2 from Matt Reeves.The Robert Pattinson-starring film was delayed once again, this time to 2027. Gunn wrote on Threads, "To be fair, a 5 year gap or more is fairly common in sequels." Ahead of the premiere of the Disney's live-action Snow White remake starring Rachel Zegler, the studio has shared a special look at the upcoming film, debuting a new original song.
