At Art Basel Hong Kong 2025 this week, UBS will present a new program dedicated to reimagining Chinese porcelain through contemporary artistic practices. In commemorating this inauguration, UBS partnered up with K11 Craft & Guild Foundation for a specially commissioned piece. After a 10-year absence, Amsterdam-based studio DRIFT is back at Milan Design Week with a new installation created in partnership with Audi. Titled Drift Us, the work is part of Audi’s House of Progress program and is installed in the courtyard of the Portrait Milano Hotel.The interactive piece responds to visitors’ movements, simulating the effect of wind across a field. As people walk through, robotic elements shift in sync, turning each step into a visible force. Celebrating its 44th edition this year, ARCOmadrid 2025 is bringing together 214 galleries from 36 countries, making Madrid a major stop for contemporary art this month. With a mix of established and emerging talent, the fair has a significant Latin American presence with nearly a third of international galleries coming from the region. The New Museum in NYC is set to unveil its biggest expansion yet. In Fall 2025, its new 60,000-square-foot addition, designed by OMA with Cooper Robertson, will open, doubling gallery space and improving accessibility with new elevators, an atrium stairway and an outdoor plaza. It will also create dedicated spaces for artist residencies and give NEW INC, the museum’s cultural incubator, a permanent home.
