Victor Osimhen likens his unconscious 30 minutes to a brain reset

Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has said his 30 minutes of unconsciousness Sunday, ‘felt like a brain reset’ Osimhen was discharged to return to Naples on Monday after spending the night under observation at a hospital in Bergamo following an alarming collapse towards the end of the club’s 4-2 Serie A defeat by Atalanta on Sunday. Osimhen was knocked unconscious in a scary incident during the final minutes of the game after a challenge with Cristian Romero; he was stretchered off the pitch and taken directly to hospital. Edo government warns worship, events centres against violating coronavirus protocols

The Edo State Government has warned owners of event centres, eateries, restaurants, pubs, shopping malls and other places hosting social events in the state against violating the state’s COVID-19 prevention protocols. In a statement signed on Saturday by the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, the government said event centres or business premises that violate regulations on social gatherings would be shut and owners or operators would be prosecuted at designated mobile courts. Florian Picasso, an electronic music producer and relative of legendary artist Pablo Picasso, is following in his great-grandfather’s footsteps of creativity and imagination. The Vietnamese-French DJ has announced an exclusive, 90-minute DJ set live from Pablo Picasso’s atelier in his villa in Cannes. The backdrop of the performance will be recreated to showcase the atelier as it was when Pablo lived and worked in it. In addition, prominent French painter and graffiti artist Cyril Kongo will paint a custom piece live throughout the stream. FIFA announces appointment of chief operating officers for Women’s World Cup 2023

On Tuesday, world football governing body, FIFA, announced the appointment of two Chief Operating Officers (COOs) in Australia and New Zealand respectively for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 that will be jointly hosted by both countries. Last year, the pair took up the initial appointment to lead the FIFA Women’s World Cup office in their respective host countries. Now, Jane Fernandez has officially been named as the COO for Australia, with the New Zealand COO position going to Jane Patterson, officially too.
