Tomorrowland Announces 21 Days of Streaming On One World TV and One World Radio
Tomorrowland season is upon us. With the Belgian EDM festival readying for kickoff, this year’s edition is guaranteed to be bigger than ever. The iconic fest expanded to three weeks of action and so too has its programming, starting with 21 days of broadcast on One World TV & One World Radio One World TV will feature three unique channels to comprehensively capture all of the action happening on and off its stage. The first will be primed on the marquee event: The Reflection of Love main stage. The second channel will flip between the Atmosphere and the Freedom stages while the third will feature backstage conversations as artists drop in and out of the hot seat for exclusive interviews and more. Electric Forest Partners With Planned Parenthood For 2023 Ticket Giveaway
Electric Forest has joined forces with Planned Parenthood for a new giveaway initiative inspired by the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade on June 24th, 2022, the festival’s organizers announced on social media. The decision was officially handed down during the festival’s run this year in Rothbury, Michigan. The Met Is Transforming Its Rooftop For an Electronic Music Series This Summer
In a move almost no one could have predicted, the Metropolitan Museum of Art has announced a summer-long electronic music event series. “Sun Sets” is the first concert series to ever grace The Met, with performances scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays beginning July 8th and ending September 3rd. Don’t expect the events to be a late-night affair, though—the music kicks off at 5:30pm and ends at 8:30, according to The Met. This July, fans of Daft Punk and Tron have the opportunity to return to the grid. In celebration of the beloved film franchise’s 40th anniversary, Disney and the House of Blues San Diego are set to host a one-of-a-kind dance party, “D23 Derezzed – A TRON 40th Dance Party.” The original 1982 cyberspace thriller was of course followed up by 2010’s Tron: Legacy, which features one of the modern era’s most acclaimed film soundtracks thanks to the legendary robots.
