Nicky Romero to Ring In 2022 With 3-Hour Streaming Event

Fresh off this week’s 10-year anniversary of his generational dance anthem, “I Could Be The One” with Avicii, Nicky Romero has announced a New Year’s Eve livestream to ring in 2022.  The three-hour show will be available exclusively on Romero’s website, where he will play a DJ set from 11:55-1AM CET. Marc Benjamin will open the show at 11PM and Wildstylez, who is also known as one-half of prolific hardstyle duo Project One, is scheduled to close out the stream with an hourlong performance from 1-2 AM. CRSSD Festival 2022 to Feature Gorgon City, Adam Beyer, SOFI TUKKER, More

San Diego’s biannual CRSSD music festival has revealed the first phase of its lineup for its upcoming spring 2022 event. Once more, the house and techno affair will take over the city’s picturesque downtown Waterfront Park on March 5th and 6th. Administered by FNGRS CRSSD, the two-day fest will be home to a bevy of big names in the genres spread across three distinct stages. Hundreds of Ravers Threw an Illegal Party Inside a 12th Century-Era Irish Castle

A centuries-old castle outside Dublin was overrun by teenagers on Sunday night, thanks to an illegal rave featuring a so-called “famous DJ,” Sunday World reported.  “In fact, he was that famous he had the audacity to ask me to book him a taxi to take him home!,” said Skyrne Castle owner Derek Iceton, who arrived on the scene after neighbors alerted him to a stream of taxis driving onto the grounds.  According to Iceton, crowds were spread out over the building’s three stories until he was able to cut the property’s power, when began dispersing the crowd. “I fully expect to have Covid after this,” he told the Meath Chronicle. “The walls were dripping with condensation when we finally got the place cleared.” Skyrne Castle w...

Spring Awakening Cancún Cancelled Due to Omicron Concerns, Major Loss From Chicago Festival: Report

While live music made a triumphant return in 2021, the weather and a sudden surge in COVID-19 cases haven’t been kind to LiveOne. The Minneapolis edition of the popular electronic music festival Lights All Night has been canceled just two days before the event was scheduled to begin. Prior to its cancellation, the two-day fest was planning to host performances from ZHU, Jauz, ATLiens, Doctor P, FuntCase, Vampa, Feed Me, Wreckno, and more. Organizers to took to social media to share a statement informing fans of the news. “Out of concern for our fans, artists, employees, and local communities, we are sad to announce Lights All Night Minneapolis will not be held this year,” the statement reads. In Arizona, there’s one event promoter that has the Phoenix EDM scene on lock: Relentless Beats. Following a memorable debut in Cincinnati in 2021, the organizers of Interstellar Music Festival have announced a move to the Kentucky Speedway in 2022. Hosted by Uncut Republic, an electronic music-focused promoter based in Cincinnati, Interstellar will comprise three immersive stages, each of which feature state-of-the-art festival production.
