In its first year of action, ILLENIUM‘s Ember Shores destination music festival had everything to prove. Could it stand alongside the likes of the highly regarded Lost Lands by Excision, ODESZA’s Sundara, and other artist-curated music festivals? Desert Hearts to Return In 2022, Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary In New SoCal Location

After succumbing to the wrath of the global pandemic and missing out on two years of revelry, the organizers of Desert Hearts have announced the festival’s return in 2022 with a new location. Celebrating a decade of house, techno, and love, the eclectic techno and house music fest will take place April 28th to May 2nd, calling Lake Perris its new home.  Situated approximately two hours outside of Los Angeles and San Diego, Lake Perris State Recreation Area is a serene lakeside oasis surrounded by the suburban landscape that is the Inland Empire. Hangout Music Festival has officially punched its ticket to 2022. The three-day oceanside music festival is set to return to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama for the first time since 2019 from May 20-22, 2022. Swedish House Mafia have pulled out of their scheduled performance at Fort Lauderdale’s Audacy Beach Festival after two of its members tested positive for COVID-19. The iconic dance music trio of Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, and Steve Angello took to social media to share a joint statement announcing the cancellation of their DJ set, refraining from divulging which members contracted the virus. Elements Festival Shares Roadmap of Improvements After Controversial 2021 Event

After a disastrous 2021 edition of Elements Music & Arts Festival, the event’s organizers are looking to reconcile with fans and create a safer experience in 2022 after providing a list of changes in a highly detailed roadmap. As part of a proposed five-point plan, the festival is being relocated from Lakewood, Pennsylvania to Long Pond. Ideally, this will mitigate many of the infrastructure-related challenges the festival faced in 2021, such as exorbitantly long wait times and camping logistics.
