And thanks to a gallant attendee who was able to capture the full show, fans who missed out can now watch the performance in 4K resolution on YouTube. True to form, Prydz seamlessly oscillated between his aliases, mixing music by Pryda, Cirez D, and Tonja Holma with the gusto of a seasoned vet. He also played out a ton of IDs. Rising dance music producer and DJ ALWZ SNNY recently brought his brand of bubbly bangers to Hanover, Maryland for a special DJ set on August 13th. Dubbed “SNNY NITES,” the event at the Original Cancun Cantina poured gasoline on the artist’s ascent in the EDM space. The show was co-hosted by social media influencer Sydney Lint and Video DJ Q, and the lineup included Evan Wilder, Sircasm, and DJ Lavi. But it was ultimately an ALWZ SNNY showcase as the masked DJ threw down in front of packed crowd, dropping a bevy of house and trap bangers. Organizers brought out all the stops for the show, which offered an electric atmosphere throughout the night’s entirety. Aerial trapeze performers gyrated and swung from the ceiling. As music festival organizers continue to navigate the complexities of COVID-19 restrictions, the nation’s largest electronic dance music event promoter has announced new safety measures impacting all of its fests. According to CEO Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac Events will now require prospective attendees to provide proof of full vaccination (both jabs) or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of any given event. The decision has the feel of a watershed moment for the electronic music event space, wherein many promoters have refrained from instating similar mandates with hopes that restrictions will soon be lifted. Ubiquitously considered the leading festival organizer in the EDM industry, Insomniac has 12 U.S. fests scheduled before the end of 2021 as of this report&...
