MitiS Announces Massive North American Album Tour

Last month MitiS returned to Ophelia Records with his sophomore album Lost. The LP has received praise from fans and critics alike, as it reflects the next chapter of his impressive career. No album is complete without a tour, however. MitiS is scheduled to hit the road on August 19th for his Lost album tour, with his first stop in Miami, Florida. He’ll then be making stops all over North America including dates in Vancouver, New York, Michigan, Portland, Seattle, and more. In conjunction with the tour announcement, the Pennsylvania native will be planting 10,000 trees in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation.  Though no support has been announced yet, MitiS hinted at some artists he’d like to have on tour in an interview with EDM.com earlier this year. ...

Burning Man Releases Tickets for Second Virtual Burn

While Burners won’t be able to congregate at Black Rock City this August after the postponement of Burning Man to 2022, they can come together in spirit for the second annual Virtual Burn.  In the midst of the pandemic, The Burning Man Project created a digital recreation of the playa in full 3D. Users were able to create avatars and explore the psychedelic simulated landscape while engaging with fellow Burners. The 2021 edition will provide all that and more.   Black Rock City Virtual Reality, also known as BRCvr, will host thousands of participants over 200 camps, a bevy of virtual art installations, and over 1,000 events. GRiZ is Hosting an Immersive Three-Day Music Experience in Denver Over Halloween Weekend

GRiZ is back with a chip on his shoulder after a brutal year for the live music scene. Less than a month after announcing his brand new galaxy-themed Virginia music fest Space Camp, the beloved electronic producer and saxophonist has announced a new curated event called Another World. The three-day event, which GRiZ dubbed an “interdimensional, immersive experience” in a tweet, will go down in Denver over Halloween weekend from October 29th to 31st at Broomfield’s 1STBANK Center. Skrillex to Headline Suwannee Hulaween 2021: See the Full Lineup

Suwannee Hulaween has landed a big fish for its grand return to the music festival circuit. Skrillex has been tapped as one of the headliners of the Live Oak, Florida Halloween fest, joining a bill that also features The String Cheese Incident, My Morning Jacket, Leon Bridges, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Khruangbin, and Zeds Dead, who will host a Deadbeats takeover. After a devastating year for New York’s live music scene, Eric Prydz is returning to the City That Never Sleeps for four industrial warehouse shows. Split between two weekends, Prydz’s upcoming NYC takeover is scheduled for November and December 2021, respectively. The first weekend (11/26 and 11/27) will see the iconic “Call on Me” producer play two extended solo sets for a classic showcase of his progressive house sound. The second slate (12/3 and 12/4) will see Prydz perform under his techno alias Cirez D alongside Drumcode founder Adam Beyer. Friends of the Late SOPHIE Launch Art Auction for Transgender Rights

In the wake of the tragic death of trailblazing electronic music producer SOPHIE in January 2021, the late artist’s friends and collaborators have launched a fundraising effort for Transgender rights.
