Asking a father for permission to marry his daughter is hard enough, but as Jonah Hill finds out in the teaser trailer for Kenya Barris’ feature directorial debut You People, Eddie Murphy is a particularly tough nut to crack. In the preview of the Netflix comedy, Hill’s Ezra Cohen sits down with his partner Amira Mohammed’s (Lauren London) parents, played by Murphy and Nia Long, at the Los Angeles landmark Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles. The Weeknd has something in the works with Avatar: The Way of Water, the upcoming long-awaited sequel to 2009’s Avatar. “12.16.22,” The Weeknd wrote on Sunday (Dec. 4) on Twitter, along with a 12-second music clip featuring the blue Avatar logo. Disney and LucasFilm have offered the first trailer for the upcoming Indiana Jones 5, which is officially titled Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The newly revealed trailer offers a glimpse at a de-aged Harrison Ford, going toe-to-toe against a familiar adversary: Nazis.
