According to gaming writer Tom Henderson, FIFA 23 will be receiving a host of new updates including cross-play for PC, Playstation, and Xbox across all game modes for the very first time. The Hypermotion technology for the game will see significant improvements, as the development team no longer relies on Xsens suits for motion capture, but instead uses stadium cameras to generate animations from advanced match footage.  The change allows the team to capture “100 times” more data in a single season than they have ever captured before. Gotham Knights, an open-world action RPG from Warner Bros. Games, will be released towards the end of 2022. Announced in 2020, the game’s debut was pushed back from its initial 2021 release date, likely due to the pandemic. A trailer for Gotham Knights that arrived last October showed that the game takes place in the aftermath of Batman’s apparent disappearance. Square Enix‘s upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive Forspoken has now been delayed. The bestselling manga series in the world, One Piece, is receiving an official trading card game courtesy of toy company Bandai. One Piece Trading Card Game will launch with four starter decks themed after four groups from the series including the Straw Hats, the Worst Generation, Animal Kingdom Pirates, and the Seven Warlords of the Sea. The first series of booster packs will be titled titled “Romance Dawn” after the first chapter of the manga. League of Legends developer Riot Games will now be donating its proceeds from in-game battle pass purchases to Ukraine. According to the company, the money earned from selling passes for Valorant, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics and League of Legends: Wild Rift between March 5 to March 12 will be donated to Ukraine on top of proceeds from the new Bee skin line in League of Legends itself.
