Sony Denies Increasing PS4 Production to Deal With PlayStation 5 Shortage

Speaking to NLab, Sony Interactive Entertainment denied increasing PlayStation 4 production to deal with the current PlayStation 5 shortage. Denying recent reports, the video game and digital entertainment division of the Japanese company noted that it had no initial plans to end production of the PS4 last year. Highlighting that any further production and sales of the console were already planned in parallel with the rollout of the PS5. Sony also noted that its release schedule of the previous-gen and next-gen console follows the introduction of previous consoles. Remute turned back the knob in gaming and musical history to when 8MB was considered a lot of storage for game systems. As it turns out, the Internet was right: Logan Paul‘s $3.5 million USD box of first-edition Pokémon cards are fake. Confirming the scam himself, Paul uploaded a seven-minute video earlier onto his YouTube channel revealing that he has indeed been duped once again. The online personality met up with the seller and the team at Baseball Cards Exchange who verified the box in a hotel room in Chicago to investigate the authenticity of the cards after many in the TCG community online started pointing out issues with his purchase, and upon opening up the boxes, they found a whole range of inconsistencies. It now turns out that Microsoft has completely discontinued production for its Xbox One console. Following the introduction of both the Xbox Series X and Series S, the gaming giant announced back in July of 2020 that both the Xbox One X and Xbox One S Digital Edition had been discontinued. According to new information, it turns out that the final console option for the generation — the regular Xbox One S — had also ceased production by the end of that year, giving the company full capacity to create next-gen consoles.
