Nintendo has long been hinting that it is working on potentially releasing an upgraded version of the Switch. Dubbed the Nintendo Switch Pro, the console was rumored supposed to feature 4K graphics. However, plans have not yet come to fruition as the gaming company announced earlier this summer that new versions of the Switch would only see a newer OLED screen replacing the original. Bloomberg recently reported that Nintendo had provided at least 11 different developers with the toolkits to create 4K games for the Switch. The store will thematically capture Kaiba’s vision of the trading card game with releases based on things he represents in the game and on the anime. Titled “Burn It Down,” the new track is by alternative-pop band PVRIS and features animated versions of some of the world’s best “League of Legends” players. After enduring several delays to its release date, EA has finally announced the open beta period for the long-awaited Battlefield 2042, dropping a trailer at the same time to give players a closer look at what to expect. The overall period will take place between October 5–10, although the game itself will only be playable for two days for most. Preloads will begin on the first day where gamers will be able to download the beta version of the title on their respective platforms, followed by early access to the experience on October 6 and 7 when servers go live for those who have pre-ordered the game.
