Retaining the same simple, down-to-Earth design language of its larger sibling, the Prime Mini series boasts all of the same features but simply at a reduced size for those who prefer something lighter in weight and more nimble. The standard wired version weighs just 62 grams while the wireless one weighs in at a slightly higher 73 grams to accompany for the built-in battery, which can keep the mouse going for 15 hours after just 15 minutes of charging through USB-C. Hideo Kojima is now looking to develop games that can change interactions and outcomes in real-time. Most known for his eccentric creative direction and vision, the Japanese video game developer revealed in a recent interview with lifestyle magazine An-An that he hopes to one day create games that can change in real-time according to external factors. “What I want to do are games that change in real-time,” he said. “Even as we’ve finally got people of various ages and occupations from all around the world playing the same game, everyone, and I mean everyone, is playing the same. Announced during the 2021 PlayStation showcase last week, BioWare‘s iconic 2004 Star Wars RPG, Knights of the Old Republic, is now set to receive a remake. Currently in development by Aspyr, the updated version of the beloved title will be a “console exclusive on PlayStation 5.” According to Ryan Treadwell, the lead producer of the project, “We’re rebuilding one of the greatest RPGs of all time for a new generation with modern tech, features, visuals and more, while maintaining the integrity of the story and characters that we’ve come to cherish.” Adding that the team working on the remake features “industry veterans” and names tied to the original video game. Analogue‘s highly-anticipated Pocket handheld gaming device has now been hit with a third delay. Announcing the news over on Twitter, the company says that it now hopes to start shipping the Pocket out in December after manufacturing was affected by Coronavirus-related delays. “Unfortunately, due to new [COVID-19] restrictions with our assembly partners, their capacity to deliver within our agreed timeframe has been affected,” explains Analogue in a statement. “This has created a domino effect of delays beyond our control in what would otherwise be a seamless process.” “We understand how frustrating this is. Shortly giving fans a first look at the game’s main villain, Square Enix has now dropped yet another trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy over at the PlayStation Showcase 2021, this time throwing out a comedic yet action-packed look at Star-Lord and his band of misfits. Shown on top of a catchy rock ‘n’ roll soundtrack, the two-and-a-half-minute clip shows off more of the game’s main characters and their personality traits, especially spotlighting a rather comedic Star-Lord that is very much reminiscent of James Gunn‘s take on the Guardians for Marvel Studios back in 2014.
