Konami Is Releasing a Life-Size ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ Rush Duel Duel Disk

Konami has just announced the upcoming release for a Rush Duel Duel Disk from Yu-Gi-Oh!. This life-size Duel Disk for the simplified version of the OCG/TCG attaches to players’ arms and has over 100 original voice recordings along with sound effects. Each zone is also able to reproduce different sounds depending on if a card is placed on them — like Maximum Summons. Other details include a Life Point counter, Field Spell and extra deck compartment, and an ID slot. Releasing with the Rush Duel Duel Disk are three Secret Rare Foils — Seinaru Barrier (Mirror Force), Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and Sevens Road Enchanter. PlayStation 5 is Rolling Out a Major System Software Update Globally

Sony announced on Tuesday that it would soon be launching a major system software update to the PlayStation 5. Hideaki Nishino, Sony’s senior vice president for platform experience, wrote in a blog post on Tuesday that the second major update would launch tomorrow, September 15. The update includes enhancements to the PS5 console experience, including Control Center customization and an updated Game Base. The new enhancements also include 3D audio support for built-in TV speakers and an M.2 SSD storage expansion, which allows gamers to store and play PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and media apps directly. Nintendo Will Finally Allow You to Connect Bluetooth Headphones to the Switch

After more than four years since the console’s original launch, Nintendo has finally given fans one of their most coveted features on the Switch: the ability to pair Bluetooth audio devices with the handheld. Announcing the news over on Twitter, Nintendo says that the long-awaited feature will finally make its way to the device in the latest update. While it’ll now enable Bluetooth pairing with audio devices, the feature is only usable for audio output to your headphones or earbuds and won’t support input from any microphones. Hideo Kojima is now looking to develop games that can change interactions and outcomes in real-time. Most known for his eccentric creative direction and vision, the Japanese video game developer revealed in a recent interview with lifestyle magazine An-An that he hopes to one day create games that can change in real-time according to external factors. “What I want to do are games that change in real-time,” he said. “Even as we’ve finally got people of various ages and occupations from all around the world playing the same game, everyone, and I mean everyone, is playing the same. ‘Knights of the Old Republic’ is Being Remade Exclusively for the PS5

Announced during the 2021 PlayStation showcase last week, BioWare‘s iconic 2004 Star Wars RPG, Knights of the Old Republic, is now set to receive a remake. Currently in development by Aspyr, the updated version of the beloved title will be a “console exclusive on PlayStation 5.” According to Ryan Treadwell, the lead producer of the project, “We’re rebuilding one of the greatest RPGs of all time for a new generation with modern tech, features, visuals and more, while maintaining the integrity of the story and characters that we’ve come to cherish.” Adding that the team working on the remake features “industry veterans” and names tied to the original video game.
