Following the introduction of the Sony PlayStation CFI-1200 model, reports are now noting that Sony could be gearing up to deliver yet another new PS5 console. Currently named the “D Chassis PlayStation 5,” the model is rumored to release sometime September 2023 and could completely replace the existing A, B, and C chassis models currently available. The reports are also noting that the D Chassis will feature almost identical hardware to the existing consoles, but come outfitted with a detachable disc drive. The disk drive will be connected to the PS5 with an extra USB-C port at the back of the console, rumors are expected the console and drive to be sold separately. With the recent rise in gambling broadcasts from the top Twitch streamers in the community, a number of ethical issues have arisen, from the idea of promoting unhealthy gambling habits to minors to fraud. Gambling was becoming one of the most popular categories of content on Twitch, and streamers such as Tyler Faraz “Trainwreck” Niknam reported making up to a million USD a month from the gambling companies. After a number of streamers threatened to strike if no action was taken, Twitch management issued an announcement indicating that “streaming of gambling sites that include slots, roulette, or dice games that aren’t licensed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions that provide consumer protection,” will be banned beginning on October 18. Blizzard Invites Players To Test ‘Diablo IV’ Beta Ahead of Public Release

Following early test trials of Blizzard’s Diablo IV, the company plans to extend a version of the game to some players in a closed beta. Announcing the news on its blog, Blizzard shared that invited players would be able to try out Diablo IV’s “robust end game offerings using specific gameplay data.” Set in the aftermath of 2013’s Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, the new title will see antagonist Lilith return to the world of Sanctuary after being banished by rogue angel Inarius. Blizzard developers noted that the closed beta would take place in a post-campaign version of Sanctuary to avoid spoiling the storyline of Lilith’s return. This past weekend, a major leak for Grand Theft Auto VI made its way onto the Internet, offering a first look at the gameplay for the upcoming title. The early footage of the next installment in Rockstar Games‘ Grand Theft Auto series came from “teapotuberhacker” who uploaded 90 videos taken from a test build of Grand Theft Auto VI to GTAForums. The videos show two playable protagonists, a female named Lucia and a male riding in the Vice City Metro.
