Sony is reportedly working on a new “Pro” PlayStation 5 controller. According to reports, the controller — codenamed “Hunt” — has keeps the classic PlayStation 5 outlook but has significant attributes added, such as removable analog sticks that will allow players to possibly customize or replace them if they get stuck, trigger stops in the back which helps reduce trigger latency and rear buttons. Another noticeable change would be the introduction of “flappy paddles,” a widely requested feature from players that have been offered by companies like SCUF Gaming and NACON.  It also features a removable grip which provides support when holding onto the controller. A modder has allowed players to play online with up to ten players in the single-player game Super Mario Odyssey. The fan-made mod was developed by CraftyBoss and can only be playable on a modded Nintendo Switch console using an unofficial ROM. The unofficial expansion allows you to play the game online simultaneously with ten players and for players to share and sync progress while they embark on a journey to collect Moons together. “Have fun exploring kingdoms with friends, playing game modes, or beating the game as fast as possible!” says a description of the mod. Microsoft has confirmed there has been a shortage of Xbox controllers across the globe due to “supply disruptions.” In a statement to VGC, the company shared, ”We know it may be hard finding Xbox Wireless Controllers right now due to supply disruptions, we’re working as fast as possible with our manufacturing and retail partners to improve this. Please check with your local retailer for availability.” Major retailers worldwide are sold out of Xbox Wireless Controllers; the lack of supply seems particularly scarce in Europe. Fortnite has reenacted a memorable Rogue One: A Star Wars Story scene for its latest trailer featuring the Darth Vader skin. The 17-second visual sees a myriad of characters from the Epic Games battle royale game as the rebel soldiers who are trying to get the plans of the Death Star off the ship. Their attempts to leave a hallway proves to be futile when Vader himself appears on the other end, his lightsaber being the only source of light. Fortnite makes sure to cut off the trailer before the violence ensues, however. Developers for the upcoming Gotham Knights game have hinted that the game will have a reaction if players were to enter an online game with the same character. In an interview with GameInformer, executive producer Fleur Marty and game director Geoff Ellenor said that the team is “leaving it up to the players,” claiming that some players would want to stand out from others. Fans were delighted back in May when Nintendo announced the arrival of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II on the Switch, but now to the disappointment of many, it turns out that the game is impossible to finish in its current form. Following its release on June 8, a number of fans have confronted a bug during a cutscene around the middle of the game that makes it impossible for you to progress past the scene, essentially blocking you from playing the rest of the experience.
