Set in feudal China, the new title brings players back to the age of the Three Kingdoms, but this time the historical fantasy game comes with a different twist — the land is now infested by nefarious demons from the underworld. Confronting these entities and beasts, you’ll be playing as a nameless militia member in the Late Han Period as you try to fight off the demon invasion to save China. Unlike previous titles in the massively popular franchise, Diablo IV will take the game in a new direction, opting for an open-world setting in contrast to the more on-rails, narrative-driven approach from before.
