Kwara governor: Let’s fight terrorism, poverty, not ourselves

Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has called on Nigerians to unite in the fight against terrorism, banditry and mass poverty. AbdulRazaq made the appeal at the closing ceremony of 2 Division Inter-Brigade Corporals and Below Competition 2021, at the Sobi Barack Ilorin on Friday. Ebonyi attacks: VP Osinbajo visits affected communities

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has assured the people of Ebonyi State that justice would be served in the case of persons recently killed by assailants in the Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. Osinbajo stated this on Sunday when he visited the affected communities including Egedegede, Obegu and Amuzu. He was led to the affected communities by the state governor, Dave Umahi. President Buhari sends 1000 more troops to Cross River

State House/Facebook President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered extra 1000 soldiers to be drafted to Calabar and other parts of Cross River State to contain rising insecurity and alleged second phase of ENDSARS protest.
