Kanye “Ye” West’s rep says that an unannounced performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards has been pulled due to “concerning online behavior.” A representative for the rapper confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter details in a report, published on Friday by The Blast, which alleges West received a call Friday evening notifying him that he was scrapped from this year’s Grammys performer line-up. Kanye West has been barred from performing at this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony. The Blast originally reported on Friday that the Recording Academy “unfortunately” decided to pull him from the show’s lineup “due to what they deem to be concerning online behavior.” The rapper’s rep confirmed the news to SPIN. The decision was made after Ye continually harassed his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson in social media posts and music videos. Music’s biggest night is moving to Las Vegas for the first time. A few weeks ago, the 2022 Grammy Awards ceremony was postponed “indefinitely” due to concerns about the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.
