The LP, which can be streamed below, comes exactly three years after the release of their previous full-length, 2019’s untitled effort. Rammstein had extensive tour plans lined up for their 2019 album, but the pandemic forced them off the road before they can play any 2020 shows. Instead of waiting around to hit the concert stage again, the band hit the studio to record Zeit, resulting in a relatively quick turnaround following a near 10-year gap between their two previous albums. Honeybee, a young band featuring 11-year-old drummer Revel Young Ian (son of Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian), have announced their self-titled debut album. Ahead of the LP’s May 27th release, the trio has unveiled the single “Get Out of My Head.” The California band also features 16-year-old singer-guitarist Liam Williams and 15-year-old singer-bassist Theo O’Gara, with Revel commenting, “Playing music with people is one of the most creative things you can do. You can make music whatever you want. And at my age? Forget about it. Esmé Bianco Accuses Marilyn Manson of Blocking Video from Screening on Deftones Tour
Game of Thrones actress Esmé Bianco, who is already suing Marilyn Manson for sexual assault and human trafficking, has filed new legal documents accusing the shock rocker of blocking a video of her that was meant to screen at Deftones’ current tour dates. Apparently, Bianco filmed a video that was supposed “to be used as part of the stage set for [Deftones’] current tour,” according to a motion filed on Wednesday (April 27th) in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. The limited-edition liquor was crafted using sonic vibrations from Metallica’s only full-album live performance of their classic 1984 album, Ride the Lightning. Brass Against made headlines last year when singer Sophia Urista urinated on a fan onstage at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida. At the kickoff of their European tour with Tool on Saturday night (April 23rd) in Copenhagen, Denmark, Urista was reminded that the stage is a “no pee zone.” To quickly recap, Urista brought a male fan with a beer can taped to his head up onstage while Brass Against was performing a cover of Rage Against the Machine’s “Wake Up” during the Welcome to Rockville set in November. Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has released the Portals EP — his debut solo release. He also unveiled the video for the song “High Plains Drifter.” The instrumental four-song offering marks the first time a core member of Metallica has pursued a solo project while remaining in the band. Hammett recently told Rolling Stone that he was “shocked” he got the band’s blessing to release the EP, alluding to the conflict that partially led to the exit of former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted.
