The group’s short-lived ride was a tumultuous one that rivaled some of the trials and tribulations of their famous dads’ bands. With a lineup of Noah Weiland on vocals, London Hudson (Slash’s son) on drums, Tye Trujillo on bass, and Niko Tsangaris on guitar, Suspect208 got off to a promising start. They released their debut single, the hard-rocking “Long Awaited”, in November, and it was met with a positive response, earning mo...

Looking to her up her already impressive outfit game, Toyah went full Catwoman in this one. Playing off the song’s lyrics, “My cat is purring, it scratches my skin/ So what is wrong with another sin?”, Toyah was dressed head to toe as Catwoman, even breaking out the Batman character’s bullwhip midway through the song. A sign on a kitchen cabinet reads “Fripp’s Ma Bitch”, calling out another line in the song, “The bitch is hungry, she needs to tell/ So give her inches and feed her well.” Toyah als...

The seven-song LP arrives June 25th via Heavy Psych Sounds, and has been preceded by the single “Nothin’”. Kyuss are considered pioneers of the desert/stoner rock style, and Oliveri and Bjork are fully embracing the “stoner” tag with their new outfit, hence the band’s name. The single “Nothin’” dabbles in sludgy riffs, meditative repetition, and a general 420-friendliness. The desertscape on the album cover also calls back to Kyuss’ legendary 1992 album, Blues for the Red Sun. In addition t...
