Man Injured After Fall From Stadium Upper Level During Motley Crue Show: Report

A fan at Tuesday night’s (Aug. 16) Stadium Tour stop at Lucas Oil Stadium was reportedly injured in a fall during Mötley Crüe‘s headlining set when he fell from the upper level. According to the Indianapolis Star, a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said that “an intoxicated male stumbled over the railing at Lucas Oil Stadium and was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in stable condition” around 10 p.m. Tuesday, 30 minutes after the Crüe took the stage as part of the massive summer outing also featuring  Def Leppard, Poison and  Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. R.I.P. Steve Grimmett, Grim Reaper Singer Dies at 62

Steve Grimmett, the longtime singer of UK metal band Grim Reaper, has died at the age of 62. The sad news was reported on social media by both his brother and his son, with no cause of death reported as of yet. After the band initially formed in 1979 as part of the new wave of British heavy metal, guitarist Nick Bowcott essentially re-formed Grim Reaper with Grimmett on lead vocals in 1982. The band released three albums: See You in Hell (1983), Fear No Evil (1985), and Rock You to Hell (1987). After their breakup in 1988, they regained notoriety when their videos were featured on Beavis & Butt-Head in the 1990s. The promotional campaign comes in support of Ozzy’s forthcoming album Patient Number 9, which drops on September 9th. Fans can get a chance to see the massive inflatable Ozzy — designed by renowned artist Todd McFarlane — in select cities leading up to the release date. The band is teaming up with its original label 20 Buck Spin for the release, which comes in a trio of formats: a triple-LP deluxe edition (shipping September 16th), a double-LP version in multiple colorways (shipping September 1st), and the first-ever cassette release of the album (available now). The deluxe edition is limited to 500 copies and is housed in a foil-stamped slip case.
