The legendary Circle Jerks finally made their way to New York City on Thursday night (July 7th) for a two-night stand at Irving Plaza following a number of pandemic-related postponements. The pioneering hardcore-punk band more than made up for the delay, delivering a 33-song set while headlining a bill that featured fellow veteran acts 7Seconds and Negative Approach. Originally, Circle Jerks had planned to hit the road in 2020 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their iconic debut album, Group Sex. Gene Simmons: KISS to Add Another 100 Cities to Ongoing Farewell Tour
KISS’ ongoing farewell tour shows no signs of stopping. In fact, the band plans to add another 100 cities to the itinerary. Gene Simmons broke the news in a recent interview with Chaoszine. When asked when KISS would wrap up the tour and retire, Simmons couldn’t give a definite answer — only that it wouldn’t be anytime soon. “We don’t know,” he said. “We’ve never retired before. Nova Twins Announce Fall 2022 North American Tour
UK duo Nova Twins, who were just named Consequence‘s Artist of the Month for June, have announced their first-ever North American headlining tour. Minneapolis act Gully Boys will provide support on the jaunt. The 11-date tour will see Nova Twins hitting major cities across North America, kicking off with a September 27th show at The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles and wrapping up with an October 16th gig at Bowery Ballroom in New York City. Porno for Pyros Announce Second 2022 Reunion Show
Following their first full performance in 26 years at the recent Welcome to Rockville festival in Florida, Porno for Pyros will reconvene for another reunion gig in Chicago. The July 30th show at the Metro will be part of the Lollapalooza “Aftershows” series, taking place at local venues around the four-day festival. The Welcome to Rockville show materialized when Jane’s Addiction had to bow out due to guitarist Dave Navarro’s battle with long COVID.
