<span class="localtime" data-ltformat="F j, Y | g:ia" data-lttime="2021-04-26T16:38:47+00:00“>April 26, 2021 | 12:38pm ET Setting the Stage: Like most artists who released new albums in late 2019, Korn did not get the opportunity to mount a widespread tour in support of The Nothing – as the COVID-19 pandemic took care of that (particularly a summer 2020 outing that would have seen them co-headlining with Faith No More). So, why not a global streaming event? Titled “Korn: Monumental”, the performance was broadcast Saturday (April 24th) from the set of the interactive Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience in Los Angeles, and produced by Danny Wimmer Presents (known for rock festivals like Sonic Temple, Aftershock, Louder Than Life, and more). Wolfgang has already seen great success with his initial singles. The ballad “Distance”, whi...

To celebrate the release, a new archival video for “Muscles” has been unveiled. Mutator was recorded from 1996 to 1998 in New York City by Vega and with his wife and longtime collaborator Liz Lamere. The songs were unearthed in 2019 by Lamere and Vega confidant Jared Artaud from the singer’s vast archive of unreleased music. The first singles “Nike Soldier” and “Fist” showcased Vega’s unrelenting creative spirit and knack for beguiling wordplay. The fact that these songs sat in the vault is a testament to just how prolific Vega was, steadily releas...

<span class="localtime" data-ltformat="F j, Y | g:ia" data-lttime="2021-04-23T20:06:03+00:00“>April 23, 2021 | 4:06pm ET A Rammstein fan with a lot of time and creativity on his hands has designed a Lego set based on the band’s massive stadium stage, and he has the industrial metal outfit’s seal of approval. The design is competing for consideration as part of the Lego Ideas initiative, with Rammstein urging their fans to vote on the project. It’s not the first time a notable music act’s stage setup has been in consideration for a Lego set.  Last year, we reported on an entrant who submitted a design for an elaborate Tool stage, complete with awesome figurines of the band’s four members. Another contender presented a similar idea for Daft Punk. Whi...

The book is due out in October — just in time for Halloween. Few albums are better suited for a comic adaptation. Abigail tells the story of Miriam Natias and Jonathan LaFey, a young couple who move into a haunted mansion. Full of gothic noir and Edgar Allan Poe vibes, the album’s nine songs function as a suite, weaving a macabre narrative. The conceptual story album would become a staple of King Diamond following Abigail, which remains arguably the artist’s most acclaimed work. The King himself was enl...

As heard in the video below, the right-wing singer’s lyrics (as transcribed by Blabbermouth) diss the left-leaning Springsteen: “Am I the only one, who quit singing along every time they play a Springsteen song.” The Staind frontman also blasts the recent removal of many long-standing statues, which included a numb...
