The Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival has revealed its 2023 lineup, which will be headlined by Rancid, Bad Religion, and Dropkick Murphys. The 23rd edition of the annual punk-rock celebration is set for May 26th-29th on 6th Street in Las Vegas. Three-day general admission passes ($190) and VIP passes ($475) are available via the Punk Rock Bowling website. Individual tickets to club shows will go on sale in February 2023. Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine opened up on a number of topics in a new interview, including his desire to stage more “Big 4” concerts and a failed collaboration with one-time Metallica bandmate James Hetfield. From June 2010 to September 2011, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax played 14 concerts as the “Big 4” of thrash metal. ††† (Crosses), the duo featuring Deftones singer Chino Moreno and producer / multi-instrumentalist Shaun Lopez, have released a new song, “Sensation.” The track is the latest piece of music to be unveiled off the group’s upcoming EP, PERMANENT.RADIANT, out December 9th via Warner Records. “Sensation” arrives with a brooding music video, which features a recurring protagonist, actress Thais Molon, waking up following a car crash and trying to get a ride in the middle of a massive desert. Scott Dachroeden, a longtime guitar tech and photographer for Alice in Chains among other artists such as Tool and Rob Zombie, has died after a battle with cancer. A GoFundMe page had been set up for Dachroeden earlier this month as he battled stage 4 cancer. Dachroeden was diagnosed after he returned from a summer tour with Alice in Chains, for whom he had been tenured for 14 years. Dachroeden moved to the US from his native Australia over two decades ago with the hopes becoming a concert photographer and working in the music industry. He would find success both as a photographer and guitar tech, working with Alice in Chains, as well as Tool, Rob Zombie, Halestorm, Bush, and many more.
