Classless Act have had one heckuva year. Now, they’re set to release a five-song EP, Welcome to the Acoustic Show, featuring unplugged versions of select songs from their debut album, Welcome to the Show. One of those acoustic songs is “This Is for You,” premiering here at Heavy Consequence. Derek Day tells us of the track, “Musically, this song came together rather quickly. Disturbed Unleash Title Track from Upcoming Album Divisive: Stream

Disturbed have unveiled the title track from their upcoming album, Divisive, which arrives on November 18th. The song is classic Disturbed, with crunchy riffs, David Draiman’s powerful vocals, and a soaring, melodic chorus. Speaking about the theme of the song in a press release, Draiman explained, “The title track and the title itself are indicative of the incredibly fucked up state of things we are living in. It’s about how hyper-polarity has influenced everything people do in life.” He continued, “People are addicted to outrage. They’re addicted to finding the next thing that will piss them off so they can rave about it on social media. Everything negative was given a shot of steroids.” Advertisement Related Video Guitarist Dan Donegan added, “David was in the room listening to me play ...

I am Satan. The snake and forbidden fruit with a longing for knowledge, freedom and agency. My feet were moving. I thought I was running, but I was dancing. A celebration. Yes, I am the Devil, and I believe that one day you can be the Devil too. It is my hope and amb...

Matt Sorum Announces Kings of Chaos Album, Reunites Velvet Revolver Lineup for First Single “Judgement Day”: Stream

Veteran drummer Matt Sorum has announced the debut album from his all-star project Kings of Chaos, and reunited the Velvet Revolver lineup for the new single “Judgement Day.” Sorum performed and co-wrote “Judgement Day” alongside Slash, Duff McKagan, and Dave Kushner — all of whom played with Sorum in Velvet Revolver, the mid-2000s hard rock supergroup fronted by the late Scott Weiland. The song lives up to its all-star billing, with a high-speed pace and blazing leads from Slash and Kushner. Sorum handles lead vocals and sounds great on the mic, embracing the humor and punkish bite of the track. That humor transfers over to the music video, which features a cameo from ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, and sees Sorum driving like a madman in an homage to Vanishing Point, screaming the song lyrics al...

Guitarist Nita Strauss has unveiled the new single “The Wolf You Feed” featuring Arch Enemy singer Alissa White-Gluz, along with an accompanying music video. Strauss and White-Gluz make for a mighty duo on the hard-hitting track. Strauss lays down dynamic riffs and the masterful shredding she became known for as the lead guitarist in Alice Cooper’s touring band. Meanwhile, White-Gluz wields her imitable harsh-clean vocal style, which will be immediately recognizable to fans of her work in Arch Enemy. The track follows Strauss’ 2021 rock hit “Dead Inside,” which featured Disturbed’s David Draiman. It would seem Strauss is set on tapping A-list vocalists for her as-yet-unannounced second solo album, with “The Wolf You Feed” fulfilling the guitarist’s longtime desire to collaborate with Aliss...
