Drake Spent $1 Million at a Houston Strip Club Day After Astroworld Tragedy: Report

In the hours following the tragic events at Astroworld, Drake hosted an after-party at Dave and Buster’s, and then spent $1 million dollars at a strip club. According to social media posts from associates of the Toronto rapper, Drake hit the Houston strip club Area 29 on Saturday night (via blogTO). The hip-hop duo have today shared the music video for “Never Look Back,” a cut from their knockout 2020 album, RTJ4. The clip stars RTJ’s Killer Mike and El-P in a reimagining of George Romero’s 1968 horror touchstone, Night of the Living Dead. Directed by John Hillcoat, the “Never Look Back” video premiered as part of the Adult Swim Festival livestream on Friday. Cole protégé Kal Banx and Wu10. “I Deserve” begins with Smino’s vocals gliding over a gentle, lackadaisical piano riff. The song then kicks in with a trap beat and an array of group chants that scatter the background. In his bid to free Larry Hoover from prison, Kanye West has enlisted the services of Bill Cosby’s lawyer, Jennifer Bonjean. “We’re putting together a new team for [Hoover]… it’s much like in the footsteps of my father-in-law, Robert Kardashian,” Kanye explained during the second part of his interview with Drink Champs, which aired on Thursday night. “We got the lawyer that just got Cosby out.” Hoover, co-founder of the Chicago street gang Gangster Disciples, is currently serving six life sentences after being found guilty of murder, conspiracy, extortion, money laundering, and other criminal activities.
