T.I. and Wife Tiny Respond to Fresh Allegations of Sexual Assault

A second woman, identified as Rachelle Jenks, stepped forward earlier this month to file a police report alleging similar incidents took place in Las Vegas in 2010, and waived the right to anonymity, the report continues. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department would not confirm or deny if the investigation was active, according to the Daily Beast, whose journalists claim to have observed a copy of the report. Legal reps for T.I. say the rapper and his wife Tiny haven’t been contacted by police and they’re being kept in the dark on specifics. “The Harrises have not spoken to or been contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) or, indeed, any member of law enforcement from any other jurisdiction in the country,” comments attorney Steve ...

A Gangsta’s Pain’s 61,000 units earned are nearly all from streaming activity, as SEA units comprise 60,000 of its total for the week. Zero albums debut in the top 10 on the new Billboard 200 — the first time that’s happened since the March 13-dated chart. Morgan Wallen’s former No. 1 Dangerous: The Double Album rises 3-2 with 52,000 equivalent album units earned (down 3%), DJ Khaled’s Khaled Khaled dips 1-3 in its second week with 46,000 units (down 51%), and Justin Bieber’s fo...

J. Cole, Rap’s Middle Child, Comes of Age on The Off-Season

<span class="localtime" data-ltformat="F j, Y | g:ia" data-lttime="2021-05-14T18:39:31+00:00“>May 14, 2021 | 2:39pm ET As with most middle children, one tends to forget about them in favor of their older or younger sibling. The Off-Season, out today (May 14th), sees J. Cole — aka hip-hop’s self-proclaimed middle child — finally accepting and embracing his place, and letting everyone know that though he may exist between generations, he still has plenty to offer. A typical middle child is constantly seeking approval from either or both of their parents, only to find themselves ignored (and therefore disappointed). Cole has garnered similar scorn from a large sector of rap fans — look no further than his shots at Kanye West on “False Prophets” or his cont...
