King Von’s Family Thanks Fans After Rapper’s Death: ‘You’re Keeping His Legacy Alive’
King Von’s family released an official statement Wednesday (Nov. 18), nearly two weeks after the Chicago-bred drill rapper was fatally shot at an Atlanta nightclub. V.Roy of 100K Management, which had Von on its roster, issued the statement on behalf of the late rapper’s family and team on social media along with a picture of him and his young children. “Thank you to everyone who has showed their outpouring of love for King Von. The final list of performers for the 2020 American Music Awards includes Bebe Rexha & Doja Cat, Dan + Shay, Lewis Capaldi, MGK and The Weeknd featuring Kenny G. The show, hosted by Taraji P. After Trav drew more than 45.8 million viewers for his five Fortnight show in April, Lil Nas X put up similarly impressive numbers when he dipped into the kid-friendly virtual game platform Roblox for four shows over two days this weekend. A spokesperson for the platform confirmed to Billboard that the virtual shows received more than 33 million visits.
